As we get older and have more life experiences, we are confronted by demands and pressures that often lead to exhaustion and frustration. When those demands accumulate over time, it begins to affect us emotionally and physically.Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program which teaches skills that will help reduce stress by using creative strategies to release tensions.
It will benefit people who are experiencing:

We will be learning to manage everyday stress, to take responsibility for our well-being, to develop skills to calm our body and mind, to develop skills for controlling pain and to relax and let go of our tensions.
The benefits of this program will be the reduction of anxiety, depression, tension, anger and chronic fatigue.
It will decrease our blood pressure, headaches, gastro-intestinal distress and skin disorders.Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) can improve one's health and quality of life and develop a sense of calm peace, instead of a sense of urgency.
The Mindfulness-based stress reduction program consists of :
- An introductory session
- A private consultation with the instructor
- Weekly 2 1/2 hour group for 8 weeks
- An all-day Saturday retreat on the 9th week
- An individual interview after the program
- A daily commitment to 45 minutes of relaxation and awareness exercises at home is requested.
